Selected work
Both are commissions, drawn for one person and never repeated. One is built from rubies, the other from sapphires — and each is photographed as it was collected, from the front, the centre and the clasp.

Our speciality
The stone comes first. Whether that is a white diamond chosen for its cut, a fancy yellow or a deep cognac, a ruby with real depth, or a tourmaline that changes character in the evening — we find the one that is yours, and everything else is drawn around it.
Chosen for cut and for light rather than for size alone. White diamonds are graded on a different scale from colour diamonds, and we would rather show you a smaller stone that performs beautifully than a larger one that does not. Loose stones are set before you so you can compare them side by side.
Yellow, pink, blue, green, champagne, cognac. Colour diamonds are graded on a different scale from white ones, and the distance between a good stone and an exceptional one is usually in the saturation rather than the size. We source them loose, set several before you at once, and let you choose the one you keep returning to.
Ruby, sapphire, emerald, spinel, tourmaline, garnet, tanzanite. Every species answers the light differently and takes a different setting well, so the design follows the stone rather than the other way round.
Bring us a stone you already own — an inherited one, a find from a journey, a loose stone kept in a drawer — and we will build the piece around it. If you know precisely what you want, we will draw it. If you know only the feeling, that is a perfectly good place to begin.

How it is made
Tell us the moment it is for, and the stones you already have. We will draw it, set it by hand, and send you a photograph of the finished piece before it is collected. Every enquiry is answered personally by Ishaan, usually the same day.
